These cakestand is, in our eyes, perfection! A pretty fluted base would make this dish a perfect cakestand for an afternoon tea, or an extremely decorative centrepiece for fruit during a cheese course.
The blue floral transferware pattern plays second fiddle to the fabulous gilt which has been thrown about the piece with gay abandon. Divine.
